Dear Member,
As you all know Corona virus crisis is already in Portugal.
As
advised by the Portuguese Government, World Health Organization and
Portuguese Golf Federation, Golfe Clube de Tavira and Benamor Golf are
taking
all the procedures to ensure yours and others safety.
Due to this ALL Members competitions and other events are CANCELLED until the 12th of April, which include the
following:
14th
March - Spring Cup (tee times will still be available for members who
wish to play but it won't count as a competition - Please advise if you
wish to play)
18th March - Interleague Match vs Penina
20th March - Golfe Clube de Tavira Annual Meeting (AGM)
21st March - Captain's Drive-In
23rd March - Ladies Interleague Match vs Pinheiros Altos
25th March - Interleague Match vs Vilamoura
5th
April - Easter Cup (tee times will still be available for members who
wish to play but it won't count as a competition - Please advise if you
wish to play)
8th April - Interleague Match vs Boavista
11th
April - April Stableford (tee times will still be available for members
who wish to play but it won't count as a competition - Please advise
if you wish to play)
After
the 12th of April we will re-evaluate the following competitions to see
if there's any necessity of taking any actions (depending on
Governmental
and Health decisions), and/or reschedule the above competitions
cancelled.
We
kindly ask that all the events organizers take action in cancelling
competitions like the Interleague Matches that are due to be played
against
other teams.
The
Bar/Restaurant will have a reduction of 1/3 of the normal occupation
available to avoid large concentrations of people in the same space.
It's our strong belief that you understand those actions taken by us as they are in your behalf.
